There's no fixed price list. Every property is different, so once I see the details below I'll follow up by email with a fee quote based on the specific scope of work.

The more you can tell me up front, the more accurate that first quote will be, and the less back-and-forth before we get started.

  • I review the property and email you a fee quote.
  • Once you accept, you'll sign your engagement online and pay securely through the link provided.
  • Your inspection is scheduled once your signed engagement and payment are received.

This is also the place to mention an effective date, if you have one: the specific date your value needs to apply to. For most appraisals that's simply your inspection date, no need to guess. For an estate or date-of-death appraisal, it's usually the date of death. Not sure? Leave it blank and I'll ask.
For example, a divorce dispute, contested probate, arbitration, or tax appeal. Routine, uncontested estate or trust administration is not a contested matter, and requests like that are welcome.

At inspection, I'll also ask for approximate dates and costs on any updates, if you have them handy.
